To help Homeless Veterans
When duty called, they answered. They left the comfort of their homes and families to put themselves directly in harm's way for the safety, security, and well-being of every citizen of the United States of America. America needs to realize that each time a person enters the military service, they give up a lot of their personal freedoms, and are prepared to give up their life for their country. Corporate America has not ensured the freedoms we take for granted, they were the product of the men and women that put on the uniform and served without forethought of where they would serve and under what living conditions
Veterans United Support Services feels there is a debt owed to all of these individuals who have put their lives at peril in the service of others. We know many of us will never suffer the cost of such duty but we, ourselves, can answer the call to meet their needs. We do our best to help lift the burdens of our Military Veterans and our First Responders.
Wherever and whenever we see a need that is going unmet, we provide whatever support we have at our disposal. We strive to make an ongoing commitment to do whatever is in our ability to help those brave men and women who are absolutely the finest among all of us.
We have a proven track record of helping veterans with the receiving their deserved benefits . We will drive them to their nearest VA and sit with them throughout their FDVA appointment if they wish and also go with them to their benefit appointments.
The Veterans Administration admits that there are now more homeless female veterans than their male counterparts.
We found this very disturbing and re-designed a portion of our Homeless Program and named it Women Warriors Support Program. Our first thought was a homeless female veteran is a daughter, a mother, a wife, and if she is on the streets that means she may have her children with her. That thought really got us thinking of ways to combat this crisis.
We plan to offer family focused retreats for Veterans and their families with optional on-site counseling services available 24/7. Counseling is completely "Opt-In" and is never a requirement to attend any of our events.
501c3 organizations, including Veterans United Support Services, typically include some sort of community outreach in their mission. Of course, another benefit is that we can now accept tax-exempt charitable contributions from our supporters.
We have a proven track record of meeting Veterans needs wherever they may exist. We are continuing to partner with other Veterans organizations in order to provide our veterans with the assistance they deserve
We love our supporters, so feel free to drop us a line.
